Trashfest 2009 was one of the biggest ever!
Thanks to everyone who took part in TrashFest 2009. This year we took the Comal by storm. Despite a pretty constant downpour, we registered 446 participants this year, the most in 12 years and collected 4,820 pounds of trash. For the official results and summary, see the Trashfest homepage.

Congratulations to our 2009 Scholarship winners
The council was once again amazed by the number and quality of the applicants this year. We received at least one application from each member club. In these times of economic hardship, we felt it important to stand up for our community. The council decided to dip into it's reserves and increase the number of awards. Congratulations to all the fine applicants this year.
